Twinkle twinkle little tree

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here.

The first thing you’ll see when you walk into my house these days is this adorable Christmas tree twinkling away in my living room. I was worried that I wouldn’t have a Christmas tree for my new place’s housewarming / X’mas party this year, because we accidentally threw our old one out when we were shifting houses two weeks ago…. And I honestly cannot find the time to go X’mas tree hunting and buy the decorations / accessories needed. I have an old gelish manicure that’s needed removing for over a month now and I still haven’t got it done! What a crazy end of year period it’s been for me. Haven’t had time to breathe, let alone shopping.

It couldn’t have been more perfect when http://www.65emall.com/ delivered this pretty 1.5m Christmas tree right to my doorstep just a few days ago!

I don’t even have to buy any ornaments to decorate this contemporary tree with because it comes with flashy built-in fiber optics… which are those rad colorful lights you’ll find all over the tree! It doesn’t get hot even after a whole night’s usage, so there’s no concern about it overheating (a common problem with these sorta things!)

It glows in different bright colors – white, blue, yellow, green, red and even has a button on the stand which you can press to switch the frequency and pattern of which the colored lights blink. It’s way brighter in real life than in pictures!

I adore how it’s white-tipped to give the illusion of a white Christmas. It’s definitely not traditional, I know there’s nothing quite like a real Christmas tree, but hey, who are we kidding? We don’t have snow here in Singapore, people don’t go around caroling and people’s houses aren’t decorated with fairy lights like in other countries…. so having a practical option that I can re-use year after year, one that won’t need cleaning up and disposing of after every December ends, makes sense to me. Besides, every guest that has seen our tree so far has found the colorful lights very fascinating!

Sitting underneath my X’mas tree is a hamper from Tupperware SG… Thank you for sending over more awesome home ware products that will make my new place even more comfortable and practical to live in! Once I started using Tupperware products for storing my cooking, I’ve never looked back on other alternatives because the quality is just so much better. Can’t wait for my friends & loved ones to start visiting me in my home and for more presents to pile underneath my tree!!!

It’s not too late to get your own Christmas tree yet! It will be no party without a tree. http://www.65emall.com/ is selling this 1.5m fiber optics tree at $79, inclusive of delivery to your home. They have other types of trees and decorations available too, so check out their Christmas collection here!

I love all the parties, festivities, the buzzing build up of celebrations & decorations leading all the way to the 25th of December. It’s usually more fun than the actual day itself, which is actually more quiet than one would expect based on all the hype throughout the month, don’t you think? Based on my own experiences, anyway!

I hope you guys have a great X’mas this year, even if you’re not religious (I’m not). I do believe Christmas is for everyone to appreciate, regardless of your beliefs :)
